below view scenes from the larger context of my living laboratory at SL2.
note the two 'marker trees' that figure prominently in many
other pictures, including this page's background tile.  You'll
see the trees are now a somewhat comparable distance
removed from the camera, but in the opposite direction.

Snapdragons are a favorite flower crop in the CSA fields.
This is one of my favorite groupings - most others
are a vibrant mix of colors.

IImagine enough tomatoes to feed 35 families!!!  This picture is a
few weeks old, which means now there are many more ripe fruits.
At SL2 I grew Vatican paste tomatoes so I could use them for the
base of my homemade tomato sauce.  I also meant to grow
cherry tomatoes for essence making purposes but apparently the
six pack had been mislabelled...I wound up 'wildcrafting' a CSA
cherry tomato essence from the tribe that grows next to their thriving
Big Cousins.  And back at SL2 there are PLENTY of non-cherry
tomatoes to added to the paste-base ...

these pumpkin patches are my
closest neighbors beyond a line
of apple trees
this herb patch smells
heavenly!!!
