| This group of flower essences share some commonalities of purging static or negative-flow energies. Such debris tends to slow us down physically as well as psychically and emotionally. For this reason FE group 5 remedies often inter-act most dramatically for people and situations that involve a lot of densely compacted energy. The essences help us revitalize our compressed energetic functions. They also help illuminate new pathways of growth and creative exploration. Bladderwort - holds very strong value for those who are wrestling with powerful and basically unchallenged addictive mechanisms and behavior patterns. The remedy is often most useful for those who experience a sense of fear or anxiety whenever they contemplate change that feels beyond their strength level or practical capabilities. Sometimes addictions are ingrained enough to make us physically ill. This applies to bad television, chat room overload and excessive retail therapy just as much as nicotine, narcotics and the usual retinue of recreational buzz-drugs. Depression that is tenacious and largely characterized by an inability to stop ignoring the ongoing creative potential of how we relax and spend our off-moments MAY be greatly illuminated and healed by essences like Bladderwort. It's also an excellent choice for all the 'first-tier' addictions - especially alcoholism and an ongoing attachment to prescription painkillers Dogwood - traditionally employed for matters of physical pain/discomfort that makes us unhappy and at least partially estranged from our species. Often it's a very useful remedy for those who are chronically clumsy or accident prone. If we've been injured and forced to re-channel our physical life force, Dogwood can help us find the pleasure and challenge of developing a new routine rather than avoiding that routine through extended periods of mourning what has been outright lost or simply interrupted for a period of recuperation. Strongly favored during the research project - especially for those with an ongoing history of repeatedly injuring themselves in the name of generic 'diligent exercise' or a specific physical passion such as Yoga or windsurfing. Gaura - takes us out of the individual mind by folding-back a variety of portals to collective consciousness. The remedy is often very helpful for those who have trouble shutting-down their thoughts. It's also extremely beneficial for those who want an ongoing electrical tonic for their crown and upper chakra realms. See also Apple Blossom Grass. The SL Gaura remedy is prepared from pink flowers. This brings a little more 'heart' and warmth to the somewhat remote regions of the white/apple blossom flower signature. Pansy - may be especially useful for those who confuse their need for ongoing loving attention with the "special treatment" they receive when ill or otherwise incapacitated. The essence also has a documented relationship (see Gurudas) with establishing an electrical defense against viral infection. I strongly recommend Pansy essence as a frequently employed ally during flu season. It's very nice in a spray bottle - especially when it's combined with disinfectant essential oils and a few drops of red carnation essence. Old Fashioned Sunset Rose - is an awesome friend for those who are attached to a re-active or fire-based response system. All that raging solar energy needs a powerful push to the deep healing regions of the heart center. In holding both pink and orange healing ray vibrations, this rose essence is very skilled at re-directing solar energy gridlock. It's also a very good friend for anyone who suffers from painful head disturbance and other neurological issues effecting motor control and our personal degree of experiential cognitive dissonance/resonation. Yellow Snapdragon - is marvelous for those who are making an effort to disengage from sarcastic or mean-spirited response systems. Oftentimes there is physical pain held in the jaw as a kind of inner balancing point for the psychic pain that's outwardly inflicted when that jaw is moving. If the mere thought of 'giving up' a sense of verbal dominance causes fear or anxiety try working in combination with pink carnation, lady's mantle or chicory. Yarrow (yellow) - is a wonderful auric shield. I usually advise applying it with something like Jacob's Ladder or Centaurea. Working in combination we are more likely to realize ways in which we're shielding ourselves to prevent growth or straying very far from the center of our personal comfort zone. If the new millennium's evolutionary curve is to be maximized Yarrow must be applied with caution by those who know they tend to rationalize or automatically eradicate any sense of personal responsibility. The flower's medicine spirit will not take kindly to being used as a justified force of separatism or boundary-building intention. In other words, yarrow's new millennium message is clear: run from yourself if you must but you shall not be permitted to hide for long or with discernible advantage. |
